It is a rich source of protein, vitamins A, B, and D, biotin, dietary fibre, and minerals, specifically manganese and iron. The main phytochemicals in fenugreek seeds are flavonoids, alkaloids, coumarins, choline, inositol, and saponins. The prevalent alkaloid is trigonelline.
